We kick off Party Parade 2019 with a celebration of CCF’s 30th Anniversary at the beautiful Padua Hills Theater. Enjoy a delicious dinner by Pappas Artisanal, music by the Amanda Castro Band, a silent auction and a raffle from the Diamond Center.

A six-course dinner of classic New Orleans dishes are presented by Diann Ring and karen rosenthal and served by five claremont City Council members. menu includes: crab remoulade in fillo cups, mini muffalettas, barbecued shrimp, salade with spicy pecans and apples, rustic cajun gumbo, brennan’s beef tournedos, creamy grits, southern greens and bread pudding with whiskey sauce
The Grand Finale of the spectacular Origami in the Garden exhibit features an exciting opportunity to meet the artists, Kevin and Jennifer Box of New Mexico, who will discuss their process and give a tour of the pieces in the gardens. A screening of the documentary, “Between the Folds,” will be presented.

This event is designed for all levels of yoga, including beginners and those who just want to try something different! An hour of yoga will be followed by another relaxing practice – beer tasting! A tour of the brewery will take you behind the scenes at Claremont Craft Ales. Yoga begins at 11:30am and the post yoga beer flight and brewery tour starts at 12:45. Bring your own yoga mat.
Long before Dancing with the Stars, the legendary Arthur Murray was teaching the styles of ballroom dancing that are so popular today. Come out and kick it up with a Salsa lesson and enjoy a refreshing Margarita to cool down. Appetizers will be served.

The Claremont Film Festival will host an evening of short films and film experts on Thursday March 21st beginning at 5:30 PM. Guests will be treated to tasty treats. The event benefits the Claremont Community Foundation as part of the Foundation’s Party Parade which supports the work of deserving organizations in Claremont.
The event will feature films along with presentations by film composer Michael O’Neill, filmmaker Eshaana Sheth and makeup artist Alex Galaviz.
Michael O’Neill is a composer and producer with over three decades of experience at the highest levels of the music industry. Michael has composed music for dozens of TV shows and films. As a guitarist he has played on projects with such artists as George Benson and Al Jarreau.
Eshaana Sheth is a first generation Indian American writer, director and actress. Currently based in Los Angeles, she previously lived in New York City where she studied at Barnard College of Columbia University.
Alex Galaviz has provided his makeup artistry for many film projects. He will demonstrate his craft at the event.

This event demonstrates the dual benefit of exercise combined with a social element, and highlights the natural progression to gather socially after an exercise event. Just want to eat, drink and socialize? No Problem! you can skip the exercise and come straight to dinner (includes bread, salad, wine, beer and desserts)!
The racewalking demonstration will take place from 4:30-5:30pm at the Claremont High School track, followed by a savory soup dinner at 6pm with sunset views.
